Trapped in Cyberspace

by OST Tour to Young Audiences

Ottawa School of Theatre is a registered charity that teaches theatre skills to students of all ages in both official languages. Our students are from the Ottawa, Orleans, and outlying areas.

To promote the benefits of watching and participating in theatre, we make some of our productions available to area schools. The cost to your school is kept low.

Trapped in Cyberspace
AUDIENCE: grade 4 to 7

The FRIENDSHIP vs CYBERSPACE Battles: who wins? Who should win?

TRAPPED in CYBERSPACE!  In a world where cell phones seem to have too much focus, a group of unlikely friends get trapped inside their cell phones- they must use their skills and work together to escape!  Come along on the adventure and learn a thing or two about how technology shouldn’t run our lives. Featuring audience participation, music, and maybe even a dragon, you’ll go MAD for this funny, adventure.  Spectators are encouraged to participate! This show promises to amaze, engage and delight audiences of all ages.

The performance is followed by a Q and A with the cast and crew.

It is best to book ASAP as we are only able to accommodate a small number of schools.

Studies show how beneficial theatre study can be.

How can you provide theatre to your students/team members, you ask?  Ottawa School of Theatre!

We offer theatre workshops onsite at your school or organisation. OST-ETO teachers visit your school to lead your students in a series of theatre workshops that build confidence and team spirit.  These workshops can be geared to fit a particular theme as well as a final performance if desired.

Act now to avoid disappointment, this is a very popular program.
